Pieces are about 3″ x 2″ in size. Each puzzle is the shape of the character. Great beginning puzzle set for pre-schooler. Variety of colours make the puzzle pieces easier to sort (the first step in putting them together) by colour.
Heavy cardboard is great for this age group that tend to step on puzzle pieces and bend them. These will hold up better than most others.
